About Us
Oak Hill School is a coeducational, non-denominational, independent school serving approximately 470 students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.
Since 1961, the Oak Hill School has educated children based on timeless values of personal integrity, academic accomplishment, and a strong spiritual foundation. Oak Hill School was founded in faith as an outreach of First Presbyterian Church.
As an independent school, Oak Hill is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of parents, alumni, past parents, grandparents, and community leaders.
Academic achievement and fostering children to lead with integrity are the cornerstone of this nurturing Christian environment. With a dynamic curriculum and exceptional instruction, our students are well prepared for their future. At their next schools, our graduates are known to be the first to raise their hand, and the first to lend a hand.
It is the Oak Hill School mission to build character and integrity in a Christian environment for a lifetime of learning and service. Indeed, Oak Hill is an illustration of the mission statement come to life, ensuring that students will be persons of integrity grounded in Christian morals and values.
