4th Grade at Oak Hill School

New to the Upper School, 4th graders at Oak Hill continue to build upon their strong academic foundations established in the Lower School. They are taught to think critically and engage the in social process of learning through literature discussions, peer dialogue, and collaborative problem solving. Fourth graders begin utilizing technology daily as a tool to enhance their learning through 21st Century tools.

Another growth milestone for 4th graders is encouraged independence, through reflecting on both academic and social growth. 4th graders practice organizational skills, working as a team, confidence in speaking, and academic risk-taking, while showing responsibility for their own learning and behavior.
