Library
Oak Hill School's beautiful new library is the academic center of the School. With close to 17,000 books, reference materials, and magazines, each class visits this space weekly. Throughout the school year, students learn how to make choices, search independently, and discover their individual interests and reading capabilities. All students have books read aloud to them and enthusiastically engage in critical-thinking discussions. Students also enjoy quiet reading time, providing an opportunity to relax and recharge in the middle of the school day.
All activities in the library affirm our love for the written word and encourage reading and self-discovery. Parents volunteer and have the opportunity to honor their child's love for reading through a wonderful tribute tradition we call Library Legends.
