Oak Hill School embraces a diverse and inclusive community of learners through the lens of social-emotional learning and spiritual growth (SESL). We teach virtues to students, purposefully and intentionally, to cultivate grace and empathy for each other. SESL provides students with the ability to interact with their emotions in different situations, both inside and outside of school
Life at Oak Hill School models Christian faith in word and example, enriching a child’s spiritual and moral development. All students begin the school day at Flag Raising, gathering shoulder-to-shoulder as a school community to thank God for the beginning of another day. Students also attend weekly Bible classes and Chapel twice per month. Chapel provides a dedicated time to demonstrate the importance of a community of faith, while gently cultivating spiritual practices and traditions.
