As an independent school, Oak Hill School is governed by a Board of Trustees whose members volunteer their time to serve the school.
Strategic in its scope, the Board of Trustees upholds and promotes the mission of Oak Hill School, establishing policies that guide the long-term vision of OHS while safeguarding the school’s resources to ensure its financial stability.
We thank our dedicated Board of Trustees for their valued service to our school.
J.T. is originally from McMinnville, TN, where he planned on taking over the family business after college. However, Nashville was calling loudly, and he followed that voice to Nashville in 2005. He found his passion in the commercial real estate business and has never looked back. He is a senior vice president at CBRE, where he focuses in the office sector. He and his college sweetheart, Catherine, are both avid UT fans and cheer for the Big Orange every week in the fall. When not working or serving his community, J.T. enjoys golfing, boating, woodworking and hunting. J.T. has been an active member and leader at First Presbyterian Church since moving to Nashville, and he and Catherine were led to OHS through the church. They had the honor of serving as PA presidents and have volunteered in various other roles over the last six years. He is committed to serving the board with the same interest and enthusiasm. Their oldest daughter, Kaiser, just graduated from OHS and sister, Mary Catherine (current sixth grader), and brother, James (current first grader), are still proud OAKS!
