Technology Support Specialist

The Specialist will be responsible for providing all areas of technical support including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computers and software for grades PreK through Sixth Grade.



  • Provide daily technical support to faculty, staff and students.
  • Provide training to faculty and staff on the use of software and equipment.
  • Configure and manage network equipment.
  • Manage campus printers and toner.
  • Maintain an inventory database of campus hardware and software.
  • Install Windows software for faculty and staff and maintain documentation.
  • Manage student iPads, Chromebooks and apps using the school MDM and the Google Admin Console.
  • Set up and run livestream events, as well as perform any post-production work needed.
  • Manage technical projects with external vendors.
  • Recycle all damaged and retired electronic equipment.
  • Collaborate with the tech team and attend regular technology meetings.
  • Perform other duties to support the mission of the school.

Skills & Characteristics:

  • Two years of experience working with technology.
  • Experience with Windows computers, iPads and Chromebooks.
  • Experience with Google Apps.
  • A working understanding of network infrastructure and troubleshooting network problems.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry best practices and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently and collaboratively interact with colleagues in the Technology Office.
  • Ability to write well and use all forms of media to communicate.
  • Experience with video and audio equipment.
  • Must show initiative, work independently and be an innovator with a passion for making technologies work for people.
