NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Happy Easter! As you celebrate this special day, may you and your family be blessed with peace and your hearts are full with the joy and hope this day brings.

 

  • Dads, don’t forget the Father/Son Breakfast is this Friday, April 6, at 7 a.m., in the Enrichment Center. All boys, PreK through sixth grade, are invited to attend with their dad. Join us for donuts and coffee to get the day started off right. Early morning care will open at 7 a.m. to accommodate the daughters of dads attending the breakfast with their sons.

 

  • Have you submitted your RSVP for the Spring Fling? You should have received a Paperless Post invitation with all of the details about this wonderful end-of-year parent party. Held at Top Golf, the event offers the chance to share in a night of dinner, drinks, golf and fun with other OHS parents. Tickets are $60 per person. Click HERE to RSVP now.   • Our first Connections Event, the Wine Down Party, is this Friday, April 6, at 6:30 p.m. The Wine Down Party will be held at the home of Nina and Michael Lindley. During this event, teams of TWO will bring 3 identical bottles of wine ($20 max per bottle). Two bottles will be shared for tasting and one will be set aside for the winning team. Two teams will walk away with a case of wine at the end of the evening. The cost to attend is $100 per couple, and the event is limited to 30 couples.   • The second Connections Event is Sounds Baseball Sunday on April 29, at 1:05 p.m. The PA has reserved a limited number of seats for the OHS community to sit together. Click HERE to purchase tickets in the Oak Hill block. Don’t forget to use the promo code, OAKHILL18, when making your purchase.

 

  • Parents of students signed up as full-time bus riders this year, be on the lookout for bus rider re-enrollment information to be sent next week. Information for new riders will be sent the following week.

 

The April virtue is GOODNESS. Our verse this week is from Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
