Weekly Ticker - April 17, 2016

Week of April 17, 2016

  • Last chance to sign up to play in the fifth annual Common Trust Cup Golf Tournament on April 25, 2016, at the Golf Club of Tennessee. All OHS parents, grandparents, alumni and friends are invited to play, either through forming a team or playing as an individual.  All funds raised go directly to the Common Trust Speaker Series, which has brought in premier speakers on education and child rearing to Oak Hill School during the last several years.  For more information, please contact John Boyer at BoyerJ@oakhillschool.org.

  • The final Lunch & Learn with Nan Russell that was cancelled last week due to the fire drill is rescheduled for this Friday, April 22, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This Lunch & Learn is a follow-up to Daniel Goleman’s presentation about emotional intelligence at the Common Trust Speaker Series. Please join Nan, along with Elizabeth Derck and Sarah Mathiesen, to discuss this important topic. A complimentary light lunch will be served. Please RSVP to Kate Sullivan, sullivank@oakhillschool.org, if you plan to attend.

  • Spring is here and many of you are enjoying lunch on the patio with your children. When dining outside, please remember to always wear your visitor’s lanyard. Also, we kindly ask that you do not send your child back inside with your lanyard if something is needed from the Dining Hall. Please walk your student back inside to pick up what is needed.

  • Calling all dads! The next dads’ Bible study with Adam DeVries is this Tuesday, April 19, at 7:30 a.m., in the OHS Board Room. All dads are welcome to attend. The final meeting of the school year will be held on Tuesday, May 17. Hope to see you there!
