NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

• The fifth annual Common Trust Cup Golf Tournament is tomorrow, April 25, at the Golf Club of Tennessee. Participants may begin arriving at 11 a.m., enjoy a buffet lunch and practice time. Play begins at 1 p.m. We look forward to what promises to be a fun event. Questions about the tournament tomorrow? Please email John Boyer at BoyerJ@oakhillschool.org.

• This week, students in second through sixth grades will take ERB achievement tests. During this week, please be sure your child gets adequate rest, eats a hearty breakfast that includes protein and arrives at school on time.

• The Service Learning Board is collecting items to help children in the hospital school program at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in support of the Students 4 Patients collection drive. Now through Friday, May 6, please bring in any of the following items to support the reading and science programs at the hospital: Amazon gift cards, iTunes gift cards (any amount), books on CD or tape and science exploration supplies, including paper towels, zip lock sandwich bags, Q-tips, food coloring and popsicle sticks. Collection bins are located in the Rotunda. The Students 4 Patients drive was created by Hannah Huth, an OHS graduate and CEO/founder of Looking Ahead 4 Kids.
