Donate your spring/summer clothes and gently used OHS uniforms, and 100 percent of the proceeds from these items will go to the OHS Parents Association.

  • Want to help tag the 1961 Consignment Number items? The OHS Professional Moms will be hanging and tagging the items on Thursday, February 18, at the home of Ansley Tolleson. Drop in any time after 5 p.m. and stay as long as you are able. Dress comfortably and bring extra wire hangers and safety pins if you have any. Food and drink will be provided. Hope to see you there!

  • In December, students participated in a worldwide educational technology initiative called The Hour of Code. Not surprisingly, the feedback from this project has been positive and has motivated us to offer more computer programming opportunities. For the second year, we will offer Coding Club, a before-school class held in the Innovation Lab from 7:10 a.m. -7:40 a.m. Mrs. Sloan and a small group of fifth- and sixth-grade coders will guide beginners through a computer programming course provided by Code.org. Students who participated in last year’s Coding Club will take a more advanced course. By introducing students to these basic programming skills, our hope is to equip them with a skill set that will prove to be foundational for other academic learning. To register for these free sessions, click HERE if your child is in Kindergarten through second grade, and click HERE if your child is in third through sixth grade. Classes will be scheduled once interest and grade-level class sizes are determined. Mrs. Sloan will be in touch with parents after the registration process is complete. The deadline to register is Wednesday, January 20.

  • Under The Oaks Summer Program registration opens next Sunday, January 24. We are excited to offer 40 new camps led by our fabulous Oak Hill teachers! Be on the lookout for the brochure in the mail or visit our webpage to view the online brochure by clicking HERE. Come learn, play and create this summer at Under the Oaks!
