NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Bidding for the Camp Online Auction closes TONIGHT at 9 p.m. To register and view the items in the Camp Online Auction, click HERE. Perfect timing for parents planning summer activities, the Camp Online Auction will feature more than 50 items, including local favorites and popular destination camps. Winners can pick up items in the Rotunda on Monday, January 22, from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. The traditional Online Auction will once again be held in April. If you have questions or are interested in donating to the Online Auction, contact auction co-chairs, Camille Rogers, camillerogers@mac.com, or Meredith Stewart, mstewart.tn@gmail.com, with any event tickets, vacation homes, unique experiences or other donation ideas.

 

  • Get ready … Registration ifor Oak Hill School’s Under the Oaks Summer Program will open this Saturday, January 27, at 8 a.m.! Click HERE to view the online brochure and begin making your summer camp plans. We hope that your child will join us this summer to play, learn and create!

 

  • The last day for online re-enrollment is this Thursday, January 25. This process is completed online as in previous years. Please refer to the email you received on Friday to guide you through the process of completing the tuition agreements and related forms. An advanced deposit of $1000 per student is required to hold your child’s spot for the 2018-19 academic year. All payments must be submitted via online payment.

 

  • Newbery Award-winning author Matt de la Peña and illustrator of New York Times bestseller Otis will visit with students in first through fifth grade on Thursday, February 1, to share their newest picture book, Love. To purchase a copy of Love or any of Matt’s or Loren’s books to be signed during their time in Nashville, click HERE to download an order form. Please return the completed form, along with payment, to your child’s teacher by Monday, January 29.

 

  • With the cold and flu season in full swing, we remind you of how to help prevent the spread of these illnesses. It is very important to keep your child at home if he or she has any of the following symptoms: fever, body aches, chills and sweats, persistent cough, fatigue/weakness or nasal congestion. The January virtue is PATIENCE. Our verse this week is from Romans 8:25, “But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.”
