NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Registration is now open for the Under The Oaks Summer Program! Secure your summer camp plans now before camps fill up. We are excited to offer 40 new camps to this summer’s program. Camps are available for campers of all ages to accommodate a full-day camp schedule. To register, click HERE.

 

  • Calling all Dads! You should have received an email about the Daddy/Daughter Breakfast that is planned for Friday, February 5. Join us for Dunkin’ Donuts, oatmeal, sausage and coffee, as you start the day off right with your daughter! The event will be held in the Enrichment Center from 7 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Early morning care will open at 7 a.m., to accommodate the sons of dads attending the breakfast with their daughters. The Father/Son Breakfast will be held in the spring.

 

  • Consignor and volunteer registration is now open for the OHS Spring/Summer Consignment Sale, scheduled for February 25-27. To register or sign up to volunteer, please click HERE.

 

  • Cleaning out your closets for the new year? Collection bins for the your donations to the 1961 Consignment Number will be located in the Rotunda, beginning Monday, February 1, through Friday, February 12. Donate your spring/summer clothes and gently used OHS uniforms, and 100 percent of the proceeds from these items will go to the OHS Parents Association.

 

  • A monthly dads’ Bible study with Adam DeVries, associate pastor for youth and families at First Presbyterian Church, will begin on Tuesday, January 26. Any OHS father is welcome to attend. The Bible study will be held in the OHS boardroom, 7:30 a.m. - 8 a.m. The remaining dates of the Bible study are February 9, February 23, March 8, April 19 and May 17. Hope to see you there!

 

  • Sign-ups for the Just. Glass recycling program are ongoing. In conjunction with the OHS Service Learning Board, we have partnered with Just.Glass, an organization that employs and empowers people who are working to break the cycle of poverty, to offer a home-based glass recycling program. Just.Glass will pick up your recyclable glass from your curbside twice per month. By signing up to recycle your glass, you will help protect the environment and help hard-working people earn a living.
