  • The final day of Explorations for the school year is Tuesday, May 23. Thank you for your support of the Explorations program this year!

  • It has been a great year in the Roxie C. Gibson library. More than 18,000 books were checked out during the school year! Now, it is time to send them all back to the library. The deadline to return library items is Thursday, May 19. The library will reopen for summer circulation on Wednesday, June 14, and will be open on most Wednesdays throughout June and July. Stay tuned for specific times and additional programming details.

  • The Over-the-Counter Medication and Medical History form must be completed and submitted for the 2017-18 school year by Wednesday, May 24. This important form is required on file for all students to help the Clinic prepare for needed over-the-counter medications. To access and print the form to submit, please click HERE.

  • There is still time to bring in gently used school supplies for the Service Learning Board’s last project of the school year. Collection boxes for the donated supplies are located in the Rotunda. Please place items in a Ziploc bag and drop in one of the designated boxes. The following items will be accepted: used crayons, used pencils and erasers, barely used spiral notebooks, markers, scissors, glue sticks and art supplies. The last day to donate items is Tuesday, May 23.

  • The deadline to submit an application for the 2017-18 Service Learning Board is this Thursday, May 18. Rising third- through sixth-grade students may apply. SLB meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month. Applicants must ask for a teacher recommendation. Please click HERE to download the SLB application. Questions? Please contact Susie Elder, chair of the SLB, eldersusie@oakhillschool.org.
