The following postions are currently available:
Director of Development - The Director of Development leads the Development Department and works closely with the Head of School and Board of Trustees to oversee and manage all aspects of Oak Hill School’s development program. The Director of Development must be able to think strategically and practically to implement a comprehensive and results-oriented development plan that includes traditional and innovative strategies. Key components of this plan should include goals, strategies, and timetables for the Annual Giving Fund, major and capital gifts, the endowment campaign, alumni giving, planned giving, and matching gifts, and should include a complementary focus on prospecting and tactics to build key relationships with alumni, families, community, corporate, and foundation leaders. This position reports to the Head of School, serves on the school’s Development Committee and attends meetings of the Board of Trustees. For a complete job description please see this document. 5th/6th Grade Head Girls Lacrosse Coach - The Oak Hill School Athletic Department is seeking a 5th/6th Grade Head Girls Lacrosse Coach. We want a responsible individual that has a commitment to the whole child while teaching them the skills needed in Lacrosse. This person needs to have a desire to work with children, excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and can be a collaborative team player while leading this team. The person should have a positive, upbeat coaching style. The head coach will be responsible for player feedback, most parent/player communication, assist with managing uniform and team equipment, and collaborate with the athletic director on lacrosse practice/game schedule. A college degree and experience in Lacrosse is required. After- school availability would start at 3:15 pm for practices and games from February through April. After-School Care Providers - Explorations, the after-school program at Oak Hill School, seeks responsible individuals to serve as after-school care providers, working with children, ages 4-12, in a structured and fun environment. The positions offer an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working with elementary-aged children. A background in education is preferred, but not required.
Substitute Teacher - We are currently seeking talented candidates to substitute teach in all grades and classes. A college degree is required. Experience working with children or education is preferred. Please complete the online application for consideration.
Substitute Bus Driver - We are currently seeking substitute bus drivers for morning and afternoon routes and for field trips. The requirements include 3-5 years experience, Class B CDL with P & S endorsements, history of unrestricted driving record, current DOT medical card. Substitute for Infant / Baby Room - Responsible for taking care of students 6 weeks - 30 months. This includes daily tasks of changing diapers, feeding, cleaning, etc. Associates Degree or current enrollment, and 1-2 years experience required.
