Elementary Music Teacher - Oak Hill School seeks a creative and collaborative music teacher for Prekindergarten through sixth-grade students. Specific areas of focus include teaching band to fifth-and sixth-grade students and collaborating and implementing school-wide concerts and the fifth-and sixth-grade musical. Qualifications include at least a bachelor’s degree in music education or a closely related field, as well as elementary-school teaching experience. Experience in curriculum development and revision are also required. Knowledge of and ability to play a variety of musical instruments are preferred. 2nd grade classroom teacher - Oak Hill School seeks a creative and collaborative candidate for a self-contained classroom. The preferred candidate will have a strong knowledge base of literacy and math instruction. The ability to collaborate with a team of teachers to develop lesson plans and instructional materials is essential. Responsibilities include effectively managing the classroom, establishing a positive rapport with students and parents, creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, using a wide variety of engagement and assessment techniques to meet individual learning profiles, communicating openly with parents to provide information about academic and behavior progress, and participating in meetings and professional development initiatives of the school faculty. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher in education. The preferred candidate will have at least two years of teaching experience in a lower school environment. 6th Grade English/Language Arts Teacher - Oak Hill seeks a creative and collaborative English/Language Arts teacher for sixth grade. Responsibilities include teaching reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar to sixth-grade students, serving as an advisor to a small cluster of students, participating in meetings and initiatives of the ELA PLC and of the school faculty, and taking part in overnight retreats with the students. Qualifications include at least a bachelor’s degree in English or a closely related field, elementary and/or middle school teaching experience, the ability to teach a range of learning levels and styles, and an appreciation for sixth-grade students. Experience in curriculum development and revision are further qualifications for an ideal candidate. A successful candidate effectively manages classroom behavior and routines while using a wide variety of engagement and assessment techniques to meet individual learning profiles. After-School Care Providers - Explorations, the after-school program at Oak Hill School, seeks responsible individuals to serve as after-school care providers, working with children, ages 4-12, in a structured and fun environment. The positions offer an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working with elementary-aged children. A background in education is preferred, but not required.

Substitute Bus Driver - We are currently seeking substitute bus drivers for morning and afternoon routes and for field trips. The requirements include 3-5 years experience, Class B CDL with P & S endorsements, history of unrestricted driving record, current DOT medical card.
